Having known Mr. Venky for many years, I appreciate his effort to strengthen the global professional network on e-waste recycling. Education is still key to increase the collection of e-waste, reduce the illegal movement of waste and to improve the recovery of precious metals as well as critical raw materials from this waste stream. The programs advocated by the institute will definitely contribute to the improvement of the e-waste management around the globe. I wish Venky and his team all the best and I’m always willing to share our experiences regarding the implementation of e-waste regulations as well as compliance measures in Europe.
